An economic and tourism centre, 4th-biggest urban conurbation of Corrèze.
At the crossroads of three regions: Périgord, Quercy and Limousin. Less than 10 minutes from the motorways - A 20 (Paris/Toulouse) and A89 (Bordeaux/Lyon).

Objat is a dynamic, prosperous and welcoming town where life is good.

Its geographical position made it a historical centre of trade, now a centre for tourism and business.

Way of life
Wonderful, thanks to the local produce such as foie gras, Limousin beef, milk-fed calves, Limousin apples (France's first AOC), Périgord walnuts (AOC). The milk-fed calves fairs (on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesday of each month) have qualified the town as a "Remarkable Site of Taste".

The Sunday morning market with its age-old tradition gives the countless visitors an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere, colours and aromas of yesteryear.

The Objat Region is subjected to oceanic influences and enjoys a peaceful climate making it a pleasant place to live, with inhabitants with a warm, welcoming character. Visitors soon become friends.
