From Yssandon to Objat |

The junction between the Périgord and Limousin regions |
 |
 |
Corrèze is a land of contrasts with a variety of terrain and climate, offering landscapes with an infinite diversity of pastel hues, gold, and white
as the seasons change, charming the visitor who quickly becomes a friend.
In the south east of this region, the Objat area is subjected to oceanic influences,
and enjoys a mild climate making life here very pleasant and giving its inhabitants a warm, welcoming nature.
Resolutely turned towards the Quercy area and with its back to the austere Limousin granite in favour of the warmth of the Périgord stone,
and with many waterways winding through the rich fields at the foot of the limestone hills of the Yssandon region,
the lowlands are and remain a generous purveyor of early fruit and vegetables. A land of schist, sandstone and limestone,
all of which mark the essentially rural habitat with their imprint, this "Gateway to the South" offers a palette of panoramas
that one never tires of admiring.
